    Construction, mining and demolition industries

Construction, mining and demolition industries are required to have their workplace electrical equipment inspected and tested every three months.

Specific coloured test tags are used for different months of the year so that equipment can be easily recognised as being properly inspected and tested by the person responsible for the work site.

There are four colours that are primarily used on a quarterly basis across Australia.

Red coloured tags cover the months of December, January and February.

Green coloured tags cover the months of March, April and May.

Blue coloured tags cover the months of June, July and August.

Yellow coloured tags cover the months of September, October and November
